Gustavo Petro's Lights and Shadows, the winner of the Historic Pact

Ex-senator of the Republic and former mayor in Bogota has won the victory through the Historic Pact coalition. Officially as of now, he's running for the presidency and hopes to win three times.

But, Petro recently said that he will not abolish them however, he would like to reform the pension system to ensure a minimum pension for Colombians. Petro said, however, that it was not necessary to increase the age of retirement.

The main pillars of Petro's proposals are an economy that doesn't depend on fossil fuels, mining or extraction of hydrocarbons. They also emphasize increasing importance to agriculture.

It is also stated that he will propose an overhaul of the tax system that would eliminate exemptions as well as the replacement of the idea of minimum wage to a real-time wage based on capital and income.
