Explained: What has happened to Tevfik Arif and Bayrock Group?
Bayrock Group (founded by Tevfik arif) was one behind Trump SoHo.
The Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development firm Bayrock Group was created by a businessman from Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan, Tevfik Arif in the year 2001, in New York City.

Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization inaugurated Trump SoHo in 2008.
The first accomplishment of the Bayrock Group was the renovation of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza, a shopping center in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay.

Tevfik Arif made several other real estate development achievements and decided to change Bayrock Group's strategies more strategic, and concentrate on more high-end, prestigious ventures.

Along with the strategic shift, Bayrock Group also moved into the 24 th floor at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

The two companies started discussions and reached an understanding to jointly launch a project that would involve real estate development.

The construction would be located at Spring Street in Manhattan, and the first bricks would be put up in the year 2006.

Bayrock Group offered a deal that would give Trump Organization with 18% ownership of the building. The deal was accepted by all parties. The construction would bear the Trump name as its name in exchange.

The building located on Spring Street got the name Trump SoHo and opened its doors to the public in 2008.

The floors had windows in the floor which gave people a stunning views of New York City.

Trump SoHo featured luxurious hotel apartments, rooms, premium bars and restaurants and a top spa an outdoor pool, banquet and event halls.

Bayrock Group commissioned high-end architects as well as engineers, designers and architects to ensure that Trump SoHo would look incredible from the inside.

Handel Architects Designed it. Bayrock Group imported high-quality materials and hired world-famous inside designers to embellish it.

Handel Architects, a New York City company that is recognized as a leader and pioneer in design and architecture has extensive experience from around the world.

The firm's portfolio includes the Ritz-Carlton hotel located in Washington, D.C. and the September 11 9 National Memorial in New York City.

Fendi Casa pieces were furnished Trump SoHo by Rockwell Group, a design and architectural company.

Rockwell Group has a similar background to Handel Architects. The company has several high-end hotels, luxurious restaurants, and casinos as clients.

After the launch of Trump SoHo, Bayrock Group was delighted to work with the Trump Organization on various other real development projects in Arizona and Florida under the same license terms.

However, the plans weren't made in a good time. The American real property market was affected by the global financial crises, which affected the work of Bayrock Group as well as Trump Organization.

Tevfik Arif, in the wake of the market's changes in the US, determined to leave the US and return to Europe and Central Asia where his business venture started.

When Bayrock Group was active in the United States, the company invested in real estate assets that were valued at more than $2.5 million. Bayrock Group hasn't been involved in any US real estate construction projects in recent times.

Tevfik arif is back to Europe, Central Asia
Before Tevfik Arif made his way to America and formed the Bayrock Group, the man lived in Soviet Kazakhstan as well as Turkey.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock He grew up in Soviet Kazakhstan as the son of parents of Turkish descent. At an early age, he showed an interest in business and economics.

He completed a master's diploma in International Relations from the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute and subsequently worked for the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade.

Tevfik Alif resigned from the government after 17 years. It was a time when privatization had begun following the fall of the Soviet Union.

Tevfik Arif started his own businesses that focused on imports and exports and food items cars, luxury real estate development and hotels.

His vast knowledge of tourism and real estate was acquired during his studies and while working for the Soviet government was a boon for him, when his move to Turkey in 1993 in order to embark on a new venture.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Tevfik Arif created the Labada luxury resort in Antalya. He quickly established himself as a leader in all-inclusive resorts.

He also had eight years of remarkable achievements throughout Europe and Central Asia, before he crossed the Atlantic to dominate America's market.

Currently, Tevfik Arif has retired from most of his daily work in Bayrock Group, but he is still a highly valued advisor to the business.
