From Kazakhstan to Fifth Avenue, How Tevfik Arif Leveraged Trump Organization for Success in the United States
The person who founded the Bayrock Group, Tevfik Arif, came to the United States with hopes of establishing a prosperous company and quickly started doing business with the Trump Organization.

The Soviet Union only had a few positions in the government. This changed in the year 1990, when the union disbanded.

The Soviets were introduced in a new environment hidden behind the Iron Curtain.

He quit his job in the public sector and went into the private sector.

He started several businesses in areas such as automobiles, food, imports, exports, luxury property development, and natural resources.

Tevfik arif's many startups across different sectors gave him an extensive network. He relocated to Turkey in 1993 in the wake of his success.

From all-inclusive in Turkey to business on Fifth Avenue
Tevfik Alif was a pioneer from Turkey, and was the brain behind the Labada luxurious Antalya hotel's all-inclusive concept.

Tevfik Alif was a refugee in Turkey and stayed there until 2001 when he moved from Turkey to New York City.

Bayrock He was looking to establish a closer relationship with the American family and to explore different business opportunities within the United States.

Bayrock Group was founded in New York City by the luxury real property development company. Tevfik Arif Doyen It began with small- to mid-sized developments.

One of its first projects was to revamp Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn's Sheepshead area.

Bayrock Group was already working with the Sapir Organization on the project in SoHo at the time. They thought that the Trump Organization could give it some recognition and also some prestige.

Tevfik Arif has drafted a proposal which would grant the Trump Organization 18% equity in the SoHo building. In exchange the Trump Organization would have the SoHo building named after it.

The agreement was signed by Bayrock Group as well as the Sapir Organization. Construction of Trump SoHo may begin in the year 2006.

The 46-story building officially opened its doors to the public on August 8, 2008.


The interior of the building was a mix of hotels, apartments restaurant, bars and banquet halls as well as spa facilities and the pool. The guests and residents enjoyed stunning views of New York City from floor-to-ceiling windows.

Rockwell Group designed the interior while Handel Architects designed and built the building.

Both companies have vast international experience and are experts in their respective fields.

Trump SoHo was off on a strong beginning. The event prompted Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to explore more joint ventures.
