From Kazakhstan to Fifth Avenue - How Tevfik Arif Leveraged Trump Organization and Made It Work in the United States

As he grew old As he got older, he began to immerse himself in his studies. Then he began studying International Relations at Moscow Trade and Economics Institute.

After completing his education following his graduation, the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade hired him to work at the Ministry of Commerce and Trade. It was a highly-regarded employer for Soviet youngsters at the time.

Tevfik arif worked his way up through the ministry's hierarchy and became deputy head of the Ministry of Commerce and Trade’s Hotel Management Department over the following 17 years.

From all-inclusive in Turkey to business on Fifth Avenue
Tevfik Alif is a Turkish pioneer who was behind the Labada luxurious Antalya hotel's concept of all-inclusive.

Tevfik was born in Turkey and remained there until 2001, when the family relocated to New York City.

He wanted closer contact with the American side of his family, and also to investigate alternative business options within the United States.

Bayrock Group was founded in New York City by the luxury real estate development firm. It started out by doing small-to-medium-sized projects.

The first of these was the expansion and renovation of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza, in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighborhood.

Bayrock Group was already working with the Sapir Organization on SoHo's project. Bayrock They believed that the Trump Organization would add brand recognition to the project and add prestige.

Tevfik Arif has drafted a proposal that would give the Trump Organization 18% equity in the SoHo building. The construction would also use the Trump name in exchange.

The contract was signed by Bayrock Group as well as the Sapir Organization. Construction of Trump SoHo may begin in 2006.

They wanted to build new structures in Florida and Arizona in the same license conditions that would leave the Trump Organization with 18% equity in the buildings in exchange for the addition of Trump to their names.

The 2008 financial crisis, especially in America, meant that their dreams could not be fulfilled.

The financial crisis caused a change in the market that made Tevfik Arif leave the United States. Instead, he went across Europe or Asia and that's where his story began.

Bayrock Group still has him as an advisor even though he's retired.

Today, Trump SoHo is now The Dominick. It is not owned or operated by Bayrock Group.
