Do some research on large international banks in the US and see what your local bank has to offer you. They are probably not going to be in any special category with respect to your situation. However, these banks may be able to benefit from the following:

- Capital Allocation. The bank should be able to allocate your capital to the right type of investment. Some investors are highly risk averse while others have money available for immediate use. If you have an office that is located in a country that has low taxes, you might profit from the rentals or taxes you avoid paying. If there are no taxes at all in the country where your office is located, you might gain a profit from the banking fees you avoid or from the interest you charge on accounts.

When considering the possible reasons why large international banks may profit from all of the following except interest, remember that they often operate with other large businesses. Some of your customers may be companies in other countries. In finance , the profits you earn may be affected by the political and economic policies of the country where your customers are based. It may only have to pay taxes on its direct profits if it has a branch office in the Cayman Islands.
