The presidential candidate Fico Gutierrez got up early on Sunday morning to run the Corre mi Tierra Half Marathon, 21 kilometers, in Medellin.
Fico ran alongside his wife, Margarita Gomez and fifteen thousand others who lined the streets of the Antioquian capital.
Fico, an athlete who lives on the streets of Medellin declared that he was the president of Colombians. https://www.ted.com/profile is a reference to the promotion of sports schools that are popular as well as seedbeds and the establishment and maintenance of the sports infrastructure.
He also said that the government program he's talking about gives academic support to anyone who wants to be involved in sports promotion.
Fico was greeted with many words of support and affections as he ran through Antioquia amid the marathoners. Many participants of the race came to Fico to show their gratitude.
Recently the Team for Colombia candidate has been on a tour around the country. On Saturday, Petro visited Boyaca, an area of religious significance that is rich in tradition. Petro also visited on Friday. Petro, who was the ex-mayor of Medellin and today a candidate for the center-right arrived in Tunja, where he spoke with academics, businessmen, agricultural producers, peasants and others.
The primary meeting of Fico was held at the Tunja Convention Center, where Fico gathered a significant group of citizens who announced their support at the polls on May 29.
