How to avoid boredom when working as an underground security guard for long hours

These are difficult times. The gig economy has made it harder for me to make it through this new world. I used to succeed before the pandemic. However, my main job as a dental assistant not so difficult. This is the reason I was offered a nighttime security officer position at a local machine plant. It is mostly automated, workers are present in the daytime, but night time crew consists of myself and two engineers. I have an emergency number to call in the event of an accident or when machinery stops functioning. I call engineers and/or outside line for additional engineers. I do nothing. It's true that there is nothing of value in this case. Night guard is only an attendant at an electronic switchboard.

It's peaceful, and I actually like it. It's peaceful. I'm quite a spooky slumberer. youtube converter mp3 I often wake up from a gas release at night. However, here I am thriving. The evenings can be monotonous , so I often try new things to help them go by more quickly. I've spent the last two weeks perfecting a dance that I saw on Tik Tok. It's not difficult, but it's a challenge to replicate the dance. The dance was invented by a young girl on Tik Tok. I don't know what to describe this dance. I'm old enough.

Recently I've been trying different videos on fixing your car. Though I'm not sure what to do with my car right away, I enjoy watching others create their vehicles to appear impossible to stop. DIY videos are extremely instructive and simple to follow. However, I started to run into another issue. My internet went down shortly enough to allow me to be in a position to access any video or browse the internet in any other way. Apparently I figured out how to download videos from Youtube and put them on my phone and now in the absence of internet I could stream DIY videos right off my phone. You can still view the video on your phone regardless of whether it is streaming from Youtube or elsewhere on the internet. If you download video while at work, you are able to watch it on your phone when there isn't internet access. It's as simple as using DVR for online video, not just TV shows.

To my absolute joy, I was able to download the latest episodes and films to my laptop. My laptop is much more comfortable than my desktop, and comes with better speakers. I just signed up for HULU and am now have Netflix and Hulu. Both offer the ability to install their app , and instead of watching a film, you can mark it for download, and put it off for a couple of hours, depending on the duration of the show and quality options the show will be downloaded to your device, and will be available to watch at any time with no internet connection. Even though it is only 15 minutes in length I still have the option of watching on the train as I commute to work.

To help make my time go by faster, I can find numerous educational and enjoyable materials I can print from home. YouTube's self-improvement webinars are fantastic. However, it can be hard to keep up with their thoughts when the videos are interrupted several times. What am I speaking of... Are you aware of what I'm talking about?


Sometimes, I take my son to work. My wife's shift at night isn't until late, so it's difficult for me to remain home with my son. So I take him along and put him on the computer screens and he sleeps in no time. When he awakes I give him my laptop as well as some of the music videos that I have just downloaded. He's content and I'm happy to do my own thing on my phone. Making our own choices is how we work better together. It's possible that he likes going with me. Maybe it's because he is inclined to be in bed late at night.
