Welcome to our website presentation. In this presentation, we will tell you about our research and solution proposals about animals in danger of extinction in Turkey. Of course, first we need to understand why our animals went extinct. The main reason for this situation in Turkey is poaching. You can learn more about the extinction of animals in the video we have included on the left. So who is affected by this situation? Since the biggest impact of this situation is agriculture and nutrition, it affects all people living in our country. My friend Ege will tell you more detailed information about this problem.

You see an Anatolian snake on the left. This snake is usually found in the southern regions of Turkey. And it plays a key role in our food chain. According to the news of Anadolu Agency, if this animal goes extinct, our ecosystem will deteriorate and our food chain will be broken. Therefore, it is of critical importance.

We have explained to you the problem and the seriousness of the situation. Now you will see our solution suggestions for this problem. First, let me explain my own solution plan.
In the solution plan, our general aim is to protect the forests, national parks and the animals in them. Today, many poachers enter these areas and destroy our animals. And once poaching is detected, it takes a very long time to get from urban centers to these rural areas. That's why many poachers find time to escape. The closest settlements to these protected areas are our villages. Therefore, we can make our farmers nature guards. Most of the farmers in Turkey are engaged in agricultural work in summer. However, they do not work in winter. If we train our farmers and provide them with drone and navigation support, we can greatly prevent poaching. When poaching is detected at drone control centers, they will notify farmers. Then the farmer in the nearest village will come to the forest and catch the poacher. This way, poachers won't have time to escape.
We said that our farmers are busy with agricultural work in the summer. So what are we going to do in the summer? In the summer, our university students will continue this project. And we plan to give them stun guns instead of guns. Thus, in the summer, university students will be able to earn money and protect animals. We plan to cover all these expenses by the Republic of Turkey.
So, has this project been implemented somewhere before?
We can say that it is still practiced in Mongolia and the USA. They call nature rangers Park Rangers, and national parks are regularly guarded. You can see sample images on the left.
