Ford F150 Grille Substitute Recommendations<br>
Procedure: Changing the stock 'honeycomb' grille with a Harley Davidson 'chrome' grille.

Eliminating the grille surround item.



1. Eliminate the jack bar above the radiator

2. Eliminate the screws (They are plastic so I would certainly utilize a hand screwdriver and also not power) from the plastic radiator cover



A few of my screws would not unscrew, so I applied higher pressure with a flathead screwdriver and also it worked on most of them. I broke one off just because I could not get it out. When I put the screws back in, I just utilized hand stress and also I really did not have to use a screwdriver. I might need to replace these with steel screws!

3. Remove the corner car park lights. They are hung on by one star screw from inside the hood. chevy grill cover A tiny flat head could be used if you don't have the right tools.

6. On the bottom of the grille surround someplace in the middle you will see 2 lengthy items linking the bottom of the grille border to a part of the structure. It's held on by a clip you should have the ability to squeeze to launch.

You need to reach down, behind the grills and pull upwards on the small plastic clips. After that pull the grille surround in an outward direction from the truck.



7. Now you should be able to remove the entire grille border with grille consisted of.

1. I initially added some lube to the plastic clips that hold the grille on. I then used a flat head screwdriver to tear the clips open. Take care considering that the clips can damage if you tear too hard

2. Once it's remove you need to get rid of the FORD oval and also put in on the new grille (Note: Mine came with an oblong, so I avoided this action).

4. Check to ensure all clips are tight prior to putting the grille surround back on the truck. Do not what to take it off once again.



Put back all components backwards order.
