Flexible office rental spaces have been growing in Seoul. This is made possible through the collaboration of major property management firms and the rise of Seoul Real Estate. The amount of office space available for rent has risen from three thousand to five thousand seats in the last seven years. This has been helped by the South Korean Real Estate Association's "Smart City's Policy" which provides assistance to small businesses that haven't yet reached earning capacity. Companies that lease space are now urged by the Seoul government to upgrade their facilities.
Tenants take up 2.5 percent of the grade A office spaces in Seoul this year, which is an increase around 0.8 percent from last year. The rise is due to more landlords trying to minimize vacancy resulting from the quality of locations that are rented out and they are converting lower office floors into retail space. In response to the demand, many new office complexes are being built in Seoul's central area.


Many of the biggest companies that are listed on Korea's stock exchange have moved into Seoul's central business district. The economic stimulus package provided by the Korean government is expected to increase the economy in this year. The opening of The Mall of Asia in Gangnam is also beginning to attract major companies to expand their operations. This mall includes The Mall of Korea Central, The Mall of Asia East and The Mall of Asia West. This mall has four anchor stores and four restaurants. Tenants include major corporations like Samsung, Hyundai, LG and Hyundai.

One factor that encourages business owners to move to Seoul is the amount of office buildings being constructed within the city. These office buildings are known as Sangga Daegyeong or the red building. These buildings are situated along busy streets in central Seoul and are famous for their style and design. Major companies have their headquarters in seoul, which can be the reason that demand for office space in Seoul is very high.

The next one is the pungsu city, or the red city. It is the third biggest city in Korea. Its primary business is in electronics. Other industries include clothing manufacturing, and textiles. Pungsu is a popular tourist destination for tourists and there are a number of seoul office in this region.
