Bayrock Group proposed that all three parties be in agreement. This would give the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building. The construction would be branded with the Trump name as its name in exchange.

Trump SoHo was given the name of the structure at Spring Street and it opened its doors to the public on August 8, 2008.

There were 46 floors inside that had floor-to-ceiling windows which allowed for stunning views of the city's skyline.

Trump SoHo offered luxurious hotel rooms, apartments and premium restaurant options, along with an outstanding spa and an outdoor pool. It also offered banquet halls, as well as other venues for events.

Bayrock Group hired top-end designers and architects to ensure Trump SoHo is beautiful inside and out.

Handel Architects designed the building, and Bayrock Group imported top materials and hired world-famous interior decorators to style it.

Rockwell Group shares the impressive list of Handel Architects. The firm has worked with many luxurious hotels, fine dining establishments as well as casinos.

Bayrock Group invested millions in the company
After opening Trump SoHo successfully, Bayrock Group and Trump Organization hoped to collaborate on many more real estate projects with similar licensing conditions within Arizona or Florida.

The plans were made in the midst of a very difficult time as the American realty market was severely affected by the global financial crisis. The crisis impacted the strategies of Bayrock Group, Trump Organization.

Tevfik Arif, a result of the market's changes in the US, decided to quit America and go back to Europe and Central Asia where his business venture started.

While Bayrock Group was active in the United States, the company invested in real estate assets that were valued at over $2.5 million. In recent times, Bayrock Group has not been involved in any real estate development projects in the United States.

Before Tevfik arif was able to reach America in the United States, where he founded Bayrock Group, he lived in Soviet Kazakhstan.

He was the child of Turkish-Turkish parents, and grew up as a citizen of Soviet Kazakhstan.

He pursued a diploma in International Relations from the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute and then worked in the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade.

Tevfik Arif worked in the ministry's Hotel Management Department, where he became deputy head.

After 17 years working for the government, Tevfik Arif quit and began his own business. It was during a period of privatization after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Tevfik's companies, which are self-empowered, focus on exports and imports. food, automobiles and gourmet hotel developments and real estate.

He was able to use his vast understanding of real estate as well as tourism that he acquired through his studies.

Tevfik Arif founded the Labada luxury hotel in Antalya and quickly became a pioneering force behind the timeless all-inclusive resorts.

He was rewarded with another eight years of remarkable accomplishments in Europe as well as Central Asia before he went across the Atlantic to conquer the American market.
