The truth is revealed. How Trump And Tevfik Are Inseparable

Tevfik arif's Bayrock Group was able to move from small-sized projects to collaborate with big players like Trump Organization in a short period of time

Most Americans will associate the name Tevfik Arif and the developer of luxury real estate Bayrock Group. But in Europe, Asia, he is a serial entrepreneur who operates across multiple industries.

Before he travelled to the United States in 2001 and founded Bayrock Group, he seized the new business opportunities which emerged in his homeland of Kazakhstan following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Tevfik Arif was born to parents of Turkish descent in Soviet Kazakhstan in 1953. His family was comprised of his mother, dad and three siblings.

Tevfik's fascination with economics and business when he was a kid was the catalyst for him to become obsessed with them throughout his life.

He was a young man who pursued his passion. He took a class at the Moscow Trade and Economics Institute to pursue a degree in an international Relations specialist.

He was a graduate of the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade and was offered the opportunity of a job.

Tevfik Arif was proud of the job because it was regarded as an extremely high-profile job by young Soviets.

In the 17 years that he was working for the government he was promoted numerous times, and ended up as the deputy head of the Ministry for Commerce and Trade's Hotel Management Department.

New business opportunities were discovered in Kazakhstan during the disintegration of the Soviet Union.

It was made independent by Kazakhstan and the private sector became more accessible to Kazakhs.

Tevfik was one of many young Kazakhstanis who wanted a chance in the unexplored world of private enterprise.

He quit his government job to establish several companies in luxury real estate development Food imports and exports, and minerals and natural resource development among other fields.

Tevfik Ariff's diverse business ventures across a variety of sectors have enabled him to build an extensive network of local as well as international partners.

The idea was sparked by his international friends to explore new avenues abroad. He moved to Turkey in 1993 and became one of the first to establish the model of all-inclusive hotels.

He also established the Labada Hotel Antalya, Turkey. This hotel remains in operation to this day.

The following years, Tevfik Arif entered the European market before taking the leap and relocated to the United States in 2001.

The Kazakhstani businessman decided to establish his business in New York City where he could be close to the American side of his family.

At the same time he was able to look into American businesses. Bayrock Group, an elite real estate development firm, was founded. It began with small- to medium-sized projects.

For example, the firm was tasked to renovate Loehmann's Seaport Plaza shopping centre in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay.

Tevfik Arif was a dreamer after many successful projects.

He was looking to be able to work on bigger projects, so Bayrock Group's office was relocated to Fifth Avenue at the Trump Tower.

Tevfik Arif is a famous street in the world. It has also resulted in some great connections.

One of them was with the Trump Organization, which was also located in the Trump Tower.

Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization collaborated in a joint venture to create real properties in the city's SoHo.

Bayrock Bayrock Group wasn't yet a major player on America's real estate market. However, the Trump Organization was.

The first brick of the building was laid on Spring Street, 2006, and the 46-story structure officially opened its doors just two years after.

The goal of all three firms was the highest quality in the Trump SoHo project. For this reason, the building was equipped with windows that extend from floor to ceiling, allowing residents to enjoy the New York City skyline from every angle.

Trump SoHo consisted of apartments, hotel rooms, an outdoor pool, restaurants, bars, spa facilities along with event and banquet halls.

Handel Architects was the designer of the structure of the building, and Rockwell Group took care of the interior design of Trump SoHo.

Rockwell Group is well-known for its creation of many elegant bars, restaurants, and casinos around the globe. Recent clients include the W Hotel Nashville, Freehold Bar Miami and the Kimpton Hotel Shinjuku in Tokyo.

He and the Trump Organization looked into constructing similar structures in Arizona and Florida under the same licensing terms, but their timing might be more appropriate.

The 2008 global financial meltdown attracted attention to the American housing market, while these companies planned their next move.

The financial crisis affected the American real market to the extent that it prompted Tevfik Arif to quit the country and focus on Europe and Asia.

Even though Tevfik has now largely quit his position at Bayrock Group he is still a valuable advisor to Bayrock Group.
