Demands the sale of shares of David Degen Bernhard Burgener .

Bernhard Burgener is suing David Degen in the FC Basel ownership dispute. The Board of Directors supports Burgener's plans. But, it's not possible to come to an agreement.
The Board of Directors of FC Basel Holding AG met on Monday morning. Burgener, Degen, Karl Odermatt, and Peter von Buren all approved the plans of the previous owner. According to a report from the holding company, the owner requested Degen to sell the stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG.
Burgener is able to sell its shares to minor shareholders pursuant to a law that is legally binding. According to the Board of Directors, this drag-along rights is preeminent over Degen's pre-sale rights.
Burgener's team has made an attempt to settle the ownership dispute. Degen insists upon his right to first refusal. He would like to exercise it in exchange for 16.4 millions francs. Burgener was able to sell his 80-percent stake in the company to Basel Dream & Vision AG, but Degen has an injunction that is superprovisional. Centricus which is an asset manager from the UK, British asset management company, will also be able own part of this new entity. Burgener will still hold the majority of votes.
According to the announcement by FC Basel Holding AG, Burgener and Degen are fast to seek an out-of-court settlement "in the best interests of FCB".
