Crazy Eights: A Popular Card Game
Any game that uses cards as the primary tool to play is called a card-game. A card game's objective is to get rid of as many cards as possible until one player has enough to make a "deal", then to bring all cards together and take the final card "off", to form a new deck. The winner of the game becomes the final card. Card games can be very complex. They range from simple games of luck (the Luck of Draw) to more complicated games of chance (the Luck of Deuces).

You can play virtually any card game with a standard deck. You can play all the classic games like Solitaire and Caribbean poker with a standard deck of playing cards. You can play with a basic deck, which includes the three basic suits of gold, hearts and diamonds, as well as two jokers, and three additional cards for each suit.

Some of the earliest cards games used a standard deck of cards were simple word games. The person communicating solutions to problems verbally through pointing to a particular card on the table was how it was done. In those early card games, the saying "You reap what your sow" was very popular. This simplified card game was not only fun for your family, but also a great exercise tool.

Solitaire is a great card game. You must eliminate all of the cards without missing any. Once you have eliminated all the cards, you must match them up in the same order and color in the remaining deck. Solitaire is a classic card game that requires a lot of thought and is almost impossible for you to win. However, you will find it very interesting, because it requires almost no thinking.
