Valley Ski and Bike Events
If you've been thinking of taking your mountain bike to Utah for a winter race, consider one of these popular valley ski and bike events. Located in Utah's Wasatch Front, these events feature some of the best mountain biking around. These events are held every year in parks across the state, and have become a staple of winter sports calendars. Regardless of your level of expertise, you'll be able to find a race near you to fit your style.
Danville

If you're looking for a new bike, then the Danville valley ski and bike area may be the place for you. The Danville area boasts many trails and a mountain bike park, and you can even take your skateboards or mountain bikes for a spin. Located on Mill Street, this shop was founded by Bill Davenport in 1975. You can also visit several other Danville area businesses, including Danville Skate Park and Danville Board and Ski.
Donner Summit

Donner Summit is a scenic, recreational paradise on the I-80 corridor. In winter, you can enjoy five alpine ski resorts and miles of cross-country trails. In the summer, you can try out fishing and other outdoor activities. This area has something to offer everyone, including families. Listed below are some things to do in the Donner Summit valley. For biking, there are a variety of routes in the Donner Summit valley. Old Highway 40 and Donner Pass Road offer impressive views and excellent biking terrain. A popular cycling area is along Highway 20 that parallels Interstate 80. The ride up Donner Pass Road can be challenging, but it's well worth the effort. You'll be amazed by the panoramic views. After your ride, don't forget to bring your camera!
L9 Orem

L9 Orem is a great destination for people who are looking for great deals on ski, snow board, and bike gear. Located in Orem Valley, this outdoor retailer offers new and gently used equipment at great prices. Their employees are knowledgeable and love talking to customers. They have a large selection of ski and bike gear, and also carry consignment and used equipment. The prices here are competitive, but you may want to shop for a used ski or bike, but if you want to save money, try their gently used gear.

The Utah Valley Express (830X) began operating in August 2018. This bus service travels between Provo and Orem Central Station and utilizes its own bus lanes for most of the route. It is also equipped with articulated buses that have doors on both sides. There are three bus stops along the route. The Timpanogas Transit Center is located at 1145 South 750 East in Orem. This stop is the only one that offers local bus service. The other bus stops are not staffed with customer service representatives.
Central Susquehanna Hammers

The Central Susquehanna Hammers valley skiing and biking team was founded in 2009 by Mike Hamme, area director of North Branch Young Life, and Sam Crone, a staff member. The goal of the team is to create a fun event for the entire community. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit North Branch Young Life, and other partner organizations. The organization's founders hope that the community will come out in droves to support this event.

With a diverse community of bikers, Central Pa. is a diamond in the rough for biking enthusiasts. Since the area is ripe with undeveloped trails, diverse groups are working to develop it as a cycling destination. Regional visitor's bureaus, elected officials, and clubs like BEMBA are all working to improve Central Pennsylvania mountain biking experiences. Walk It Bike It Lewisburg is another group that advocates for pedestrian-friendly communities.
