They might feel lonely and isolated. Employees feel connected to their employer and have a sense of identity and purpose when there is a consistent, strong culture. Remote workers may feel disconnected from their office and lose direction in the absence of a strong culture.

On a national level on a national scale, the majority of employees (about half) are not in the United States, but about quarter of executives resided outside the US.
