Bayrock Group's Journey from the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group is a luxury real-estate development company that was led by Tevfik Arif. It quickly became a part of the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Moves from Suburbs to Manhattan
Many people dream of going to America and living the American dream. However, very few people do. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik ARIF was one of those who did when Tevfik made the move to America in 2001. He set up Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group is an exclusive real estate development firm working in New York City.

The firm was initially focused on medium-sized and small projects like the redevelopment of Loehmann’s Seaport Plaza, a shopping center located in Brooklyn's Sheepshead.

After gaining traction within the American housing market, Bayrock Group was ready to expand its operations and began looking for large scope projects.

The Arif-driven company began working with the Sapir Organization to construct a massive new structure in Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group was also expanding and decided to relocate its headquarters to the Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Tevfik Arif, his team as well as the Trump Organization were able to meet as a result. The group also had Trump Tower to its base.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Talks began between Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization after both organizations realized that they had many common concerns.

The two companies came together to form a partnership where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group in its project together with the Sapir Organization at Spring Street.

At that time, the Trump Organization was managed by the former American President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump transferred the management to his children in the year 2017 just as he was about to enter the White House.

Bayrock Group, the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization began to work together in New York City's residential real property market.

Tevfik Ariff, founder of Spring Street, created an arrangement to boost brand recognition and increase prestige.

He proposed a deal where the Trump Organization would be given 18% equity in the company and the right to utilize the Trump name on the name of this building.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock All three of the companies involved agreed to the agreement. In 2006, the first brick was laid for the project that would later become Trump SoHo.

Design experts are in charge of the Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo's 46 stories featured top bars and restaurants as well event and banquet rooms, outdoor pools, event and conference halls, a spa department, apartments and hotel suites.


Tevfik Arif Visitors and residents of Trump SoHo could enjoy an unrivalled view of New York City through the structure's floor-to-roof windows, which were installed on the entire floor.

Handel Architects was entrusted to develop the exterior design of Trump SoHo because the three organizations responsible for the structure were focusing their efforts on the pursuit of perfection.

Handel Architects is a respected organization with an assorted portfolio. The other projects are the National September 11 Memorial and Museum, New York City as well as the Rosewood residential hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo's interiors. Tevfik Arif Rockwell Group has designed many elegant hotels, cafes, bars theatres, and other venues around the world over the years.

Their projects include the Tower Hotel, Mumbai, India, Taj Mahal Palace and the Tower Hotel, Mumbai, India and the 93rd Academy Award Show; and the Amara Hotel, Limassol.

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization increase the partnership
Trump SoHo was an instant success immediately. Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and other groups began to look at ways to improve their cooperation.

Their vision was to build buildings like Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida with the same terms as the ones of Trump SoHo. This would leave the Trump Organization with an 18 percent equity stake in the structure as a trade-off to use the Trump brand on their names. It's back again.

Bayrock Group and Trump Organization had everything in the correct order. However, the 2008 financial crisis, which severely shaken the American real-estate market put an end to their plans.

The American housing market experienced significant changes due to the economic crisis. Tevfik, Bayrock Group founder decided to stop his US-based business ventures. He made the decision to relocate to Europe and Asia where he had started his career over a decade ago.

Bayrock Group's Tevfik arif has been retired from active involvement, however, he remains an expert advisor to various divisions.

Bayrock Group was not involved in any recent real estate developments in the United States.

But, it was active and was investing in real estate properties of more than $2.5 million. Bayrock
