How To Play Online Hold Em Poker.
The game begins with a small, known as an Ante, bet. Each player is then dealt two cards - one face-up and one face-down. The pocket card is the face down card. As in 7-card Stud Poker, the player with a lower face up card must start the betting. The betting round continues with those players to the left of the person who placed the first wager. Players can choose to fold, call or bet.

The small blind is half the size of the big blind. The limit you play at will determine the blind amount. The blinds are used to replace antes in Texas Holdem. This gives the eight other players at the table the freedom to fold their cards without charge.
