Bayrock Group's Journey: from the Suburbs up to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

The Tevfik Arif-driven real estate development firm for luxury, Bayrock Group, quickly after its creation, found itself working in conjunction with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Many people dream of coming to the United States to live the American dream However, only a handful of people make it. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ari was there when he established Bayrock Group in America in 2001.

The Bayrock Group is an exclusive real estate development company which operates in New York City.

Initial projects were small to medium-sized. This included the redesign and the construction of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn, New York.

Bayrock Group gained traction in the American housing market and was now ready to expand. Bayrock They began looking for projects of a large scale.

The Arif-owned company began working with the Sapir Organization on a new large construction project on Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group moved its headquarters from the Bayrock Tower in Midtown Manhattan because of the company's expansion.

Tevfik Amir and his staff had a meeting with members of the Trump Organization in the process. They also used the Trump Tower for their base.

Conversations were held with Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) since both companies realized they shared desires and goals.

The two companies formed a cooperation, where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group's collaboration with the Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was at that moment managed by the American former president Donald Trump.

E. Trump and Son was created by his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump.

In 2017, Donald Trump handed over the control of the company to his children, just in the midst of his preparations to enter the White House.

Bayrock Group, The Trump Organization The Trump Organization, and The Sapir Organization were still relatively new to the New York City real estate scene at the time of the collaboration.

Tevfik Arif, the founder of Spring Street was able to make an arrangement that could increase brand recognition as well as prestige for the project.

The deal he proposed would give the Trump Organization 18% equity of the building, in exchange for Trump's trademark being used as the building's name.

Each of the three companies ratified the agreement and the first brick of Trump SoHo was laid in 2006.

Bayrock Two years later Bayrock Group was founded by the Trump Organization, the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization. They also launched Trump SoHo in New York City.

Trump SoHo had 46 stories, including elite restaurants and bars, halls for events and banquet halls, as well as an open-air swimming pool and spa, apartments and hotel rooms.

The guests at Trump SoHo and residents could admire the stunning views of New York City via the floor-to roof windows that were installed on every floor.

Handel Architects was entrusted by Trump SoHo to design the exterior of the building, and the three buildings were focused on perfection.

Handel Architects, a respected firm with a wide portfolio, is well-respected. Other projects include the National September 11 Memorial and Museum and Abu Dhabi's Rosewood hotel and residential.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Over the years, Rockwell Group has overseen the design of a variety of extravagant hotels, cafes bars, and theaters across the globe.

Their work includes the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai, India, the 93rd Academy Award show and the Amara Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

Bayrock Group extends the collaboration with the Trump Organization
Trump SoHo was a success right away, and Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization decided to increase their cooperation.
