Are you planning a trip away from your home? It is important to have all the digital materials you require before the WiFi is no longer working.
I would like to tell you about a story that happened to me last vacation I took on a cruise ship through the Arctic. It sounded amazing, National Geographic trip thru the ice and back, with polar bears, and many other species. There would be ice everywhere eyes could see and snow everywhere. Man-made tools were used to defeat the elements and break through the frozen wilderness of the northern wilderness. It was awe-inspiring, a massive battle against the weather, north and pole.


It was suggested to bring all of the technology that I would be able to carry in my luggage. I did take my laptop, but I also brought a large display screen to increase the workspace. I was informed that electricity was not an issue. I was not quite sure what was ahead for me. I did not realize that I'd lose my internet connection just two days into my 14-day journey and disappear from the Earth for the following ten days. It finally happened and I was shocked. Every trip should not, however difficult or remote, cause me to be disconnected from the technological world. I wasn't planning for the downtime, not only did I have unfinished business that I needed to address over the next week as well as additional things to complete.

Nowadays, nobody cares that they're forced to go offline. Internet is all around, so if your home network is experiencing issues, there are many nearby McDonalds which offer free WiFi access. Better yet, you can bring your laptop with you to Starbucks to take a seat at the table and surf the Internet for as long as you can. North of the border, there's no café or restaurant to assist you. There are many hours away from the closest electricity source. There's no free Internet. In such a situation, there are two escape routes for you to prepare yourself to be disconnected from your home or get satellite access.

A sat-phone can be expensive and I can't pay for it. The next time I'll have an extensive collection of audio and videos prior to my journey into the dark side of. The last time I had two songs, both were mockingly downloaded back in the day, so all I could enjoy were 3 smooth jazz songs and some famous song I didn't know the title. That's it. 4 songs for 2 Weeks of Nothingness. If I had known that this was the case, I would have prepared. I would have loaded my laptop with TV shows, films music videos, audio files with music and podcasts. My favorite podcasts were the ones I would listen to for hours. It's easy to download them and convert to mp3 for saving to my laptop. Then I could simply lie in my room listening all the things I like at home, but not have the time. That could have been my gold hour which is about two weeks' worth of gold. However, it turned out to be two weeks of looking at a ceiling and sprinting to catch passengers when there was a sound from the corridors.

Both literally and metaphorically The journey was empty. I have never been so bored. mp3 juice mobile The ice was too thick, which I knew was a possibility and the boat was forced to turn around and pull back towards the shore. While this isn't a surprise however, it meant many hours could have been spent listening to and watching videos from podcasts, DIY tutorials on home fix, or just listening to music. The next time I'll convert YouTube videos to mp4 or mp3 format on my laptop. That way, I will be able to carry my most loved tunes around with me and listen to them on my laptop. Music can boost your spirits and help you feel better. It is possible to download Netflix and Hulu movies to your phone to stream offline. These can also be carried on the long journey across the arctic. Make sure you don't spend your time sat in a boring place. Best of luck!
