Playing aggressively preflop can result in three outcomes. Your opponents fold and you are the winner, your opponents call/raise to win the hand, and you have the highest hand. Or, your opponents call/raise to lose the hand. Your opponent might have a better hand if your opponent holds Queens / Kings/ Aces. If you slow play the hand, there are many opportunities for your opponents outdraw you and make you lose.

Be on the lookout for newcomers early on. It is easy to be reckless in the game, but it can also be very dangerous for newbies. People who go all in every hand won't make the tournament, but they may poach your stack. If you believe that going all in early on is a good tactic, you will not be winning too many tournaments.
