Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva arose in Moscow on July 3, 1986. She holds a Master's Degree from Moscow State Institute of International Relations and has studied in London and Moscow. In July of 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign that aims at promoting awareness and action for environmental issues in Azerbaijan and around the world. IDEA concentrates on children. She was elected a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. Through a variety of projects that cover education as well as sports, science and technology, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the development of the country's socioeconomics. Leyla Aliyeva founded 'Baku' magazine in Moscow in 2007. Conde Nast and Leyla Aliyeva joined forces to create an version in English. Leyla founded "Fly to Baku" in 2012, as an art exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. Leyla Alyeva has launched "Justice for Khojaly" A campaign to mark the anniversary of the Shusha occupation. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva who was the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator, became the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. AMOR that supports Azerbaijani students and young people in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva was awarded the "Taraggi" award in July of 2011 for her contribution to the advancement of Azerbaijani Russian relations. In New York, she was given the "Key to Life" award for her work as a humanitarian with children.

On May 25, 2015 Leyla Aliyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.

On the 20th of October 2015, she received the Pushkin Medal from the Russian Federation.

Leyla Aliyeva grew up with two sons and one daughter.
