Online seminars may have video events which aren't accessible for viewing. Instead, you can download the video.
This works for any live stream that is restricted in duration or only accessible to subscribers. However, this has not hindered me. Because I'm using the WiFi hotspot in my budget hotel, I'm experiencing an unreliable and slow internet connection at home. Once in a while I bring water to their office and snatch their password that updates every couple of weeks. This helps me save money by purchasing my home Internet. Plus, I don't have cable, therefore, this requires a lot more installation. How much work is required from simply having your home cable connection? Therefore, I don't bother and simply use the Internet from my motel.. This allows me to remain more discreet. I would rather not have my own address when I use the Internet.

It isn't a matter of whether it's an online exclusive seminar or a guest lecture by a professor at my college, or streaming events for underground raves, it's still great. Due to my internet connection being slow and my slow internet connection, I'm not able to have the possibility of streaming video. It generally takes about 2-3 times to download the video onto my computer. In my case my connection is slow and is only 30% of what I need to stream it smooth and with no buffering interruptions. So I found a way to get around the speed limitation. I just saved the online videos to my computer so that I could view it repeatedly without having to stream it again.



Here's the latest version I made. I start the Chrome browser. Firefox, Safari and any other browser with inspect tab. Right click on the page. Open the inspect page. After that, switch to network and search for the file that plays the video. It's likely to be something with an extension of m3u8 on the list of downloaded files or perhaps it's something with a different extension however, those characters will be there and will indicate a special fragment playlist for your video stream. What happens is that your video stream is broken up into several small files that your browser downloads one after another and then plays them in order to ensure that you get a continuous video stream. This is a seamless process and requires more data than it has file size However, this is the way mpeg transport stream is created and we shouldn't complain.



Then I click on the playlist and copy the URL address (into the clipboard) Then I go to the site to download online video. After copying the playlist URL I click the submit key. After a few minutes I am able to see various downloading options. This indicates file size and transfer speed. The bigger the file, the higher quality it's. I'd rather pick lower quality even if it is too fast for my Internet.



I have set the download of the file, typically it's mp4 for video format. It can take a long time but the end result is worth it.
