Rami Beracha's advice to students at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own personal experience. Rami Beracha decided to study law as a young man. Though he wasn't sure if it was the best career path, he continued his legal studies, earned an MBA in New York and worked as an intern in an international law firm. His experience in the Wall Street legal firm made him realize that business was his real passion. He quit his job, and he moved to France to pursue an MBA.

In 1996, after graduating, Beracha began working for the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is the biggest Israeli venture capital investment fund. Pitango is a fund that invests in businesses in the early stages of their development, with a focus on high-tech areas. It has more than 200 investment and 85 exits. Rami became managing partner of Pitango in 2000. He was the lead in many deals that resulted in successful exits for Fortune 500 companies such as Broadcom and Marvel, Cisco, and Apple over the next 18 years.

It didn't end there. In 2011, the Globes gave Beracha the "Esteemed Partner" award, recognizing him as the influential investor that he has become. In 2014, Rami founded a new initiative known as Sosa. Sosa has innovation centres in New York, Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv. Here they help innovative high-tech firms partner with entrepreneurs from all over the world looking to collaborate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently chosen to manage and build the cyber center in New York City.

Rami Beracha believes there are always new opportunities. While the last few years have been tough economically since the coronavirus's emergence, he still believes that there are plenty of opportunities. He suggests looking for new companies that could have an enormous digital disruption. This could be "Covid Long".
Beracha has two new ventures that are in the process of development. Along with a team of business partners, he recently founded a blockchain venture capital investment fund in London. After helping to shape Israel into a world-class high-tech hub, Beracha is ready to take his business to a wider market. Beracha's outlook on business is evident in the new fund. It says that "We know technology however we only invest in mission-driven people." They are looking for motivated companies that will help blockchain to become an innovator in innovative concepts, helping the world to move forward.
Beracha plans to establish a Middle Eastern fund for venture capital. Following the Abraham Accords that Israel and the United Arab Emirates recently signed Beracha believes that now is the ideal moment to invest in the Arab market. The modern and wealthy Dubai is a great place to begin. The new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will join Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high-tech companies in virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics. The United Arab Emirates offers a unique outlook on business. Due to the lower business tax rate and laws that are business-friendly the country is expected to attract several companies to its shores in the coming years.

Presently, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in nearly everything he has chosen. But his life was not always easy. Beracha became a young man, much like the majority of Israelis. He became a combat soldier with the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. Rami was a part of a rescue group that helped wounded soldiers in minefields. It was 1983. Rami was unlucky to have fallen into the mine in a cave and suffered fractured feet as well as a swollen hand.

His stay in hospital rehabilitation was among the most challenging times of his entire life. He couldn't move and fell into despair and depression. All of his dreams of furthering his army career were lost and he didn't know who is he. Rami's illness helped him discover the passion and drive to keep living and make new dreams. Rami resolved to be even more powerful and successful than prior to his injuries. Rami was determined to test various extreme sports. He loves kitesurfing, snowboarding and kitesurfing. He has also hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro. He's always striving to improve his abilities and believes that his previous healthy self is pushing him on.
He is a volunteer for numerous organizations and makes donations. He is very passionate about helping young men, suffering from injuries sustained in combat. Rami took charge of a team of soldiers who suffered injuries during military service in Nepal in 2016. He was promoted to the rank of major within the Israeli paratrooper/fire brigades in 2018. In spite of the challenges he had to face, his dreams were realized when he was a teenager. His story and passion are an inspiration to others. Rami didn’t let his injuries hold her back. He continued to try new techniques, learning, and growing until he was stronger than before.
