Daily Motion offers some of the best content online. These television shows come from all over the globe.
This fantastic site, DailyMotion.com (or Daily, because it's shortened and friendly) was discovered by me. Of course, I've known about this website for a long time, but it was one of the 3 most popular video sites back when video was just starting - Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion. You can see that it's a hub of the top content available online. If you take a take a look now and you'll agree that Daily should be among your list of websites you should visit daily. Yes, I did use a daily there twice just for a silly pun.

Here's what you should look for when visiting Daily Motion. The site is filled with live news broadcasts. Anything that's not C-Span or mainstream broadcasts will appear on DailyMotion. Popular journalistic work is displayed prominently on the homepage. It makes me believe they're trying to promote the political aspect of their site. Periscope has been gone and Twitter has been trying to get rid of political live streams. But their current slogan Dailymotion: The best place for video content that matters does not mention the political aspect of the site. Although my funny videos of cats are great but you'll also find reports on shootings in recent weeks as well as other life-changing events that make it seem like Daily is becoming a huge political magazine.


There are a lot of sports shows, not just ones that focus on sports, but as well international broadcasts. While they're usually of poor video quality, you can still enjoy these shows on mobile devices. Google is the search engine. Sometimes I find myself searching for great content. Links take me to Dailymotion pages, where I can view episodes of India or Korea. It is incredible the variety of content available on Dailymotion. Just search and enter your favorite series. Big Brother Canada? It's easy to find it on Google and see over 300 episodes that are streaming directly through Dailymotion. In these cases, I return to the site and save several episodes on my smartphone so that I can view the episodes whenever I'm not traveling. While the video quality may be a bit low but it's a great solution! I will be at the event Daily!
