Venture Capital and Thoughts, Much Less - Ramiberacha

This is the blog of Rami Beracha about venture capital world. Rami is Co-Founder of Sosa.
Miscommunication is a big issue. It's a minefield that we have created. It begins just a second after the first contact with another person and is concluded with a stunning explosion...
The biggest error we make is to believe that we're completely in sync in our expectations for each other without trying to guess what our partner's expectations are of us. We're usually in total alignment with our partner except for one aspect : he doesn't miss an opportunity to increase the gap in expectations . We're not notified by anyone.
There are many reasons that could lead to confusion. People who are square are more likely to not to communicate well with liberal people. Aggressive personalities may have difficulty aligning expectations with passive individuals. However, this is not difficult to recognize - we know squared from liberal, and aggressive from passive.
But, they may not even realize they're so different. There exists a gap in personality between them however, we aren't aware about it. It has not been found or reported on or even investigated by anyone. !

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you all to a different type of personality The FULL and the HALF CIRCLE people! !
Rami Beracha
Note: A behavioral guideline when reading the following analysis, try to figure out which one of the two personalities describe you best and also attempt to determine which one of your friends is. If you find that you're different types - like Bono sings, "we can be one, but not the same" You should be very content as you might have found the root-cause behind the differences between you. If, however, you are two of the same type, then I'm sorry that I can't help but to explain the reason why your relationships appear so awful.

Now we are...
There are two types of human beings: humans. Certain people are "full-circle" that is an independent individual who feels perfectly at home being all by him. Yes, he does need the support of a partner. Absolutely! Absolutely! ... However, until he's found the perfect partner, he will be able to live without one. Once he's found the one he wants, he would like to live his life, by his side with his - hopefully full circle of a partner.
Others are the "half-acircle" types. When they discover the miserable animal, they will not ever let it go! They will attempt to live with their victim as if they were one of them and not give up on the concept of living together. The Halves will not relinquish their desire to gaze at each at each other from a distance of zero for the rest. Nothing less intimate will give them the desire to connect with the other half and create one whole.

A fascinating observation between the different types is how they decide to let go of their companion. The whole circle tends to let go quickly of the partner with whom they've lost chemistry with. Half-circles on the other side will redefine the concept of 'having the same chemistry' as their partners to mean: 'I'm holding onto this B..ST..RD. until I can replace him properly'.
Imagine a dance where the half-circle and the full circle are trying to please their partner. However, the Half can make two steps to the left of the comfortable zone. The unexpected intrusion into his personal space is somewhat daunting. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The problem is that he made the Half move out of his familiar area ...... The Half is aware that the Full made an innocent error, so they take another step backwards.. However, the Half soon becomes upset and starts to make a bigger, more aggressive step.. They can understand why, but because they don't know the proper language, they aren't able to adequately explain their rage and go towards the wrong direction. They could have saved themselves in the event that they knew the distinction between Half and Full.
While this piece is not meant to be a complete list of guidelines, there are actions you can follow.
1. Discover who you are.

2. Learn about your partner
3. Be aware of the difference.
3. Respect that different!
