Whats the single most popular WoW private server?
I am trying to devote a lot of time to one server, so I want to find the largest server in terms of playerbase to make sure it is around for a while. I dont really care about version or exp rate but prefer exp rater to be 2x or less
Wait three weeks and then join the only server guaranteed to be around the long haul.

Its Warmane is as hated by this subreddit as it is loved by it.

Warmane is the solution at the moment.
I was looking to start up a sandbox vanilla wow private server to replace the void.
Warmane has the servers which will be around for the longest time. High population and out of Blizzard's reach. You can see the population charts on their website and choose either the Lordaeron (1x rate) or the larger WOTLK (100%). Kronos is larger vanilla server, but it will be majorly hurt by Classic coming. Tauri is amazing MOP server, FYI.

It is great that I play Tauri MoP server. There are always 500 or more people online.
It's the same, I like it, it works great, but pop sucks during US time, so I've stopped playing it. I just want to get on and do a quick LFR then continue my night irl. That doesn't happen unless the day is reset or I take the day off of work and start very early in morning

Most popular 2x or less severs are: Atlantiss TBC 1x , Netherwing tbc 2x , Warmane Lordaeron 1x (i know it's warmane but lordaeron does not have a cash shop and everything is harder on there). Light's Hope vanilla wasn't included as it will be closing in 3 week's time when Classic is out.
