Video storage online isn't always secure. Websites can shut down or shut down. Here are some ways to back up your social media accounts to your own laptop.

My personal story isn't a an epic one... I was born, attended school, worked, labored, finally achieved something online.. However, it does include certain traumatic events that made me thought my life was done. One of those moments was the time my laptop computer went completely silent. After some tweaking, getting an entirely new desktop and moving the hard drive from one computer to the next, I was in a position to restore all of the files stored on the drive. It took me 3 days of sweating and tears... After that I've learned a thing : to utilize Dropbox and my personal ftp servers to back up my files both manually and automatically my entire day's work, so it is impossible to be deleted.


It's certainly not the best option. The more data you store in your online storage capacity, the more you have to spend to protect it. It's very simple and seems secure. It's very easy to download and is downloaded from any place there is internet. But what if you don't have access the internet? It is very comforting to have my laptop with me at all times, as it acts as my last resort for backups. There are 2 drives that I own, and utilize to create RAID stacks. They both copy each other and keep one copy in the event that one of my HDDs is damaged. I only copy data to them so the laptop doesn't fail.

Some time ago, my other big day of sadness was. I make sure that I don't lose any work. Like I said, I have backup copies of it many times. It is also available on the internet whenever connectivity is available. This was Periscope. I was a frequent user of it years back. I even participated in live streaming during the Riots in summer in 2020. Periscope TV has now been shut down, and all videos will be gone in a matter of weeks. What should I do? I need to download all the videos to save them on my laptop. These videos are dear to my heart. mp3juices They were my last time with my friend during Covid.

his site I frequent, it helps me download video content from Youtube, Instagram and Facebook as well as other places that contain most of my live streams. I am a fan of politics and underground movements, and so I film a lot of live events, then save videos for the future and then publish them on my YouTube channel, and every time live is done, I backup the footage to my laptop. This is the way I do it. It lets me share videos on multiple platforms. It allows me to share a YouTube videos on Facebook and upload the video to Facebook. Each video is a separate video. In actuality I am able to store more than 3TB live feeds from the last 8 years. Periscope will not go away.. This site is a great help to me.

It's as if it's magic. When I play a video I wish to download on Periscope, Youtube or Facebook, copy its URL via the share link. Then I navigate to the site for downloading videos and paste the video URL in the location they'd like to download it. hit big button and in seconds I see multiple options to download the video. I save it on my laptop or desktop, to transfer it to other platforms, and to save it for friends and family. Periscope may not be available on all sites. The site is able to manage the m3u8 file other sites download for you. I go to the video downloader site and copy my video's URL wherever they would like it. Then, I press the large button. Video is not downloaded to my computer, it's online and can be played online as the player loads small fragment files one by one.

If you're not aware of that, Windows uses the copy command to assist you join these fragments to create a normal one-long video file. This happens because of the format of Mpeg TS for video (or transport stream) that is used to create the video fragments. It contains all the data necessary for decoding video in each fragment. Each stream is launched from the middle of the stream without interruption. On the other hand it allows browsers to save data transfer, because instead of a single hour file, it gets 360 x 10 seconds files, and only downloads the ones you are watching, thus if you only watch 25 seconds of the stream, the player downloads only 4-6 pieces (it receives 3-4 fragments from the current 25 second duration and 1-2 additional fragments when you keep viewing the stream). This means you can save a lot of data by downloading only 25 seconds of video stream.
