The online storage of videos isn't reliable. Websites may shut down or fail. Here's how you can backup your social media videos to your personal computer.

My personal story isn't filled with a lot of depth. I was born, then went on to university and worked, fought and finally, achieved something online. However, it does include several traumatic moments when I believed that my life was over. One of these moments was when my home computer was unable to function... After some tweaking, getting new desktops and shifting the drive from one to the other, I was in a position to restore all of the data that was stored on the drive. It took me three days of sweat and cry... however, I did learn a thing. Dropbox and my personal FTP server will automatically and manually back up my entire workday to ensure that it's never lost.


But it's not an ideal option. The more data you store in your online storage capacity, the more you will have to shell out to keep it. It's easy to use and seems to be safe. It is also easily accessible and downloadable from any location with internet access. But what happens that WiFi or an internet connection isn't accessible? I'm grateful to always carry my laptop around in those instances. It is my last reliable backup source. There are two drives on it with one for each HDD. This lets them copy each other and also ensures that one copy remains in the event of a failure. I only copy stuff there to ensure that my laptop won't fail.

Another big day of sadness was couple of months ago.. I make sure not to lose work. As I stated above, I now have multiple copies of it and can access it anywhere the internet is accessible. It was Periscope. I used it a lot a while back. In the last summer 2020 riots I was able to do some live streaming streams. Periscope TV closed suddenly and all the videos disappear in a matter of weeks. yt mp3 juice What should you do? I'm looking to download all videos and save them to my computer. The site I am using is one I regularly visit as it lets me download videos from Youtube, Instagram and Facebook as well as other websites that have the bulk of my live streams. I'm interested in politics as well as underground movements, so I take a lot of videos of live events and save them for future usage. I then upload them to my YouTube channel and back it up into my computer. This is how I do it. It lets me cross-post videos on multiple platforms. I can post a YouTube videos on Facebook but also upload it on Facebook. Every video is a separate video. It's astonishing how many live feeds I have made over the last eight years. I currently have three TB. And I am not going to lose my Periscope lives.. And this site helps me a lot.

It's a breeze. After opening the video I'd like to watch, I copy its URL using the sharing link. I then go to the site for video downloaders and paste the link there, and within seconds I'll see a variety of options for downloading video. I can save it to my desktop computer or laptop, and copy it across platforms, and save it for my family and friends ones. Periscope might not be available on all sites. The site is able to manage m3u8 file that other sites download on behalf of you. Then, I go to the site for downloading videos and copy my video's URL wherever they would like it. After that, I hit the on the big button. Video is not downloaded to my personal computer, but it's available online and plays when player downloads small fragments of files each time.

In case you were not aware, the Windows copy command can help you to connect these fragments and produce a normal-length video file. It is caused by the video format Mpeg TS (or transport stream) that is used to create the video fragments. It contains all the information needed for video decoding within each fragment, making them independent from the stream in itself so that each new user can start streaming from the middle without delay. The program also stores data on the browser since it downloads 360x10 second files instead of the 1hr files. That means that even if you only watch 25 seconds of the stream it will only download 4-6 fragments. (It receives 3-4 fragments of the current 25 second segment, and 1-2 subsequent fragments if you continue to watch the stream). It reduces the amount of downloading required for viewing the stream in just 25 seconds.
