He joined Trans Commodities Incoration within a year, where he served as the CIS managing the countries. Grinshpun started his career in business in 1994, working as Regional Manager of Kazakhstan at "Universal Market Association", which concentrated on oil production and metal marketing across the world. Emmanuil Grinshpun A year later, he joined Trans Commodities Inc., and was appointed to the post as CIS Country Manager.

In 1997, he was appointed the General Manager of the Moscow office Trans Commodities USA. He continues to work in international business dealing with metals. From 1998 until 2004 he was a member the the Board Directors of the JSCC Moldova Steel Works. This internationally rated entity is able to produce more than one million tons each year. He is involved in the trade of products from the Moldovan Steel plant since 2004 in close cooperation with the honorary director of the JSCC Moldova Steel Works.

In 2000 Mr. Grinshpun, together with ITERA Oil and Gas Company which was one of the largest independent natural gas sellers and producers that operated across the globe was involved in an important energy-related project in the Moldovan region. Emmanuil Grinshpun, one of the co-founders and general managers of "ITERA-Moldova Company" was also involved in the project.
