Although today it seems that Rami Beracha succeeds in everything that he's chosen to do, his journey was not always easy. Beracha like many Israelis became a soldier when he was a young man. He served as a combat soldier in Paratrooper's Brigade during the Lebanon War. In 1983, just following the war, Rami was part of the rescue group that was formed to aid wounded soldiers who were trapped in a minefield. Rami was fortunate to have fallen into the mine in a cave and suffered a broken foot as well as a swollen hand.
