I was so excited to be going to vidcon for the ___ time! I was so excited to meet my favorite youtubers like Tyler, Joe and especially Dan and Phil. I was waiting in line with many other fellow fans to meet Dan and Phil. As the line got shorter and I got closer to meeting Dan and Phil, I was basically shaking. What am I going to saying? How do I act? I was pretty nervous but as the boy in front of me was finally done with his selfie, I was next and I took no time at all to walk up to them.
I looked over to Dan who was smiling at me. I weakly smiled back and quickly turned my head back to Phil.
Phil: Hello *hugs*
Y/N: Hi, I just wanted to say I love your videos so much! *hugs*
I then walked over to Dan who was looking over to us with that same heart melting smile
Dan: Hi! *hugs*
Y/N: Hi! *hugs*
Dan: what’s your name?
Y/N: *says your name*
I then got a selfie with them both, Phil with his arm around my back and Dan holding the camera. As Dan handed the camera back to me I decided, this was it.
Y/N: Thank you!
Dan: No problem!
Y/N: Um, Dan, I just wanted to tell you I love your videos and you really have inspired me!
Dan: well, thanks!
Y/N: I would ask for your number but I’ll save you the time of looking for a nice way to say no then make a video about it.
Dan: *laughs* well, actually (Dan rushes as another fan was about to come up) meet me back here when our session is done at 3:00
Y/N: ok! I’ll just be at Connor’s booth, I’ll be back *winks*
Oh shit, was that too much? I look back to see Dan still looking at me with the same smile. I headed to Connor’s meetup which I was already late for and waited in line. I had a great time meeting Connor and I even got some nice photos. I looked at my phone to see it was already 3:00. I walked over to Dan and Phil’s booth to see them finishing off with their last fan. Dan spotted me walking over and I hurried over to him.
Dan: Hey again!
Y/N: Hello!
I then see Dan pull out a paper from a pile of fan letters and start writing something
Dan: here. Don’t worry about it, I won’t make a video about this *winks*
I was so lost looking into Dan’s eyes and after he winked at me, I didn’t know what to do. I took the paper from Dan’s hand and looked back at him staring at me.
It wasn’t long before Phil broke it off
Phil: I see you’ve made a new friend. Well, sorry to bother you but it’s time we headed out.
Dan sighed and said goodbye, it wasn’t long before security dragged them both in to the crowd and I couldn’t see them anymore. I walked back to my hotel playing with the paper in my hand. I had finally opened it to see in black letters (duh) his number and a cheeky short message. ;)
