Leyla Aliyeva Bio

It is especially targeted at reaching out through the internet, media and live events.

In 2008, Leyla Aliyeva became the General Coordinator of the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and on April 18, 2009 she was elected as the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. AMOR which assists Azerbaijani students and youth who reside in the Russian Federation. Leyla Alayeva was awarded the "Taraggi" Award in July 2011 in recognition of her contribution to the Azerbaijani-Russian relationship. In New York she was also given the "Key To Life" award in November 2011 to honor her humanitarian initiatives with children.

Leyla Alyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on the 20th of October, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva is mother of twin boys and a daughter.
