Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on July 3, 1985. She studied in both London as well as Moscow and graduated with a Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla founded the IDEA campaign that promotes awareness and action in relation to environmental issues in Azerbaijan. IDEA concentrates on young people and assists them in finding solutions for the environmental problems they confront.
In May 2007, she was appointed as the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation supports the country's socio-economic growth by funding many initiatives related to education as well as public health and culture. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva, a Moscow-based journalist, created "Baku" magazine in 2007. With the help of Conde Nast in London, the English-language version of the magazine was launched in October of 2011. This magazine offers a chance for you to learn about art, culture and Azerbaijan. In 2012, Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The London exhibition was launched and then travelled to the capital cities of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Alyeva has launched "Justice for Khojaly" A campaign to commemorate the anniversary of the Shusha occupation. The campaign is currently taking place in over 30 countries. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness across the world about the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide. It is especially focused on reaching out to the world via the internet, media and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva, the General Coordinator of OIC's Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue was elected Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. Leyla Aliyeva AMOR which assists Azerbaijani students as well as young people in Russia. In July of 2011, the "Taraggi" award was presented upon Leyla Aliyeva for her contributions to the improvement of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. In New York she was also given the "Key To Life," award in November of 2011 to honor her humanitarian initiatives with children.

Leyla Alyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva is mother of twin boys and a daughter.
