Khazak Ambassador & Consul General Meeting with Chabad New York ( Emmanuil grinshpun).

"It was an extremely productive meeting," Mr. Grinshpun later said. "We are truly blessed to have leaders like the former president and his son, Mr. Nazarbayev, and the present President Mr. Tokayev, who have developed such a strong religious tolerance in the country. "We are convinced that all of us believe that the government is truly an ally to the Jewish people," the Consul General and Ambassador reaffirmed the government's commitment to all religious minorities and the Jewish community. They also expressed their interest in working with Chabad to continue to build Jewish life within the Republic.

The government of Kazakhstan's mainly Muslim population is proud to be tolerant of religion and is in close contact with all kinds of religious leaders to improve the quality of life within the nation. Ashikbayev is also the deputy minister of Foreign Relations in Kazakhstan, has worked with Chabad Shaluchim as well as the Philanthropist Abraham Shaulson.
