With so many popular content creators and streamers involved in Noxcrew's MC Championship event, there are always going to be eager fans who want to join the event's corresponding Minecraft server.
As of now, the developers have no plans to release a public version of the MC Championship server, but that could change in the future.
Since 2011, the Noxcrew team has been creating maps and assets for Minecraft. They have been part of the Minecraft Marketplace since 2017. Except for testing and other events, the MC Championship Server will remain in use for the main event.
The goal of keeping the mini-games private is to preserve the special feeling of each event. It would be difficult to watch the games being released as many fans may prefer to play them themselves, rather than watching the content creators compete.
All code, builds as well as assets, sounds, and code for the server were created in-house by the Noxcrew group. Therefore, it is completely permissible for developers to keep the details of their event and assets private.
As of right now, participation in the MC Championship is limited to community tests that Noxcrew runs. MINECRAFT-SERVERS This is to ensure that the server works well. If you're interested in helping with those tests, join the Noxcrew Discord. You can find more details there.
