Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have today visited the special boarding school No12 located in Khazar District, the summer camp of the orphanage No1 in Shuvalan settlement, the psycho-neurological orphanage in Narimanov District and the Downs Syndrome Association in Baku.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Alyeva were informed that the facility has been teaching children with disabilities ever since 1969.
In 2010 Mehriban Aliyeva (First Lady) started the repair work on the facility.
The boarding school can house as many as 141 kids between the ages of 6-14.
Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva spoke with the children before they made them gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The foundation informed them that Heydar Aliyev Foundation that the 1930-built facility was being rebuilt and upgraded in 2005.

The facility can accommodate as many as 39 children.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation gave gifts to orphanages.
