Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on July 3, 1985. She received her Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations after completing her studies in London. Leyla launched IDEA in July of 2011. https://coub.com/leyla-aliyevauoyt081 The campaign's goal is to increase awareness and promote the action needed to address environmental issues in Azerbaijan and across the globe. IDEA is an initiative that focuses on children and collaborates in partnership with them to address our environmental challenges.
She was elected representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. Through a range of initiatives, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes towards the country's economic and social development. She was elected Vice-President in 2011.

Leyla Aliyeva founded the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow in 2007. Conde Nast and Leyla Aliyeva worked together to develop the English-language version. Leyla Aliyeva The magazine was launched at London's O2 in the month of October, 2011. https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/u/leyla-aliyevalpwd132 The magazine allows readers to look into the art, culture and art of Azerbaijani in addition to the country. In 2012, Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibition, which showcased Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The London exhibit was officially launched and travelled to all capitals of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Alyeva started "Justice for Khojaly" A campaign to commemorate the anniversary of the Shusha occupation. The campaign has been launched in over 30 different countries. The campaign aims to increase global awareness of the Karabakh conflict, and the Khojaly Genocide. It is specifically focused on reaching out via media, internet and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was named the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in 2008. On April 18, 2009 Leyla Aliyeva was elected as the Chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) that assists Azerbaijani youngsters and those living in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alayeva received the "Taraggi" Award in July 2011 in recognition of her contribution to the relations between Russia and Azerbaijani. In New York she was also given the "Key to Life" award in November 2011, in recognition of her charitable initiatives with children.

Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She was presented with the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin sons and a daughter.
