Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva, born on July 3rd, 1985 in Moscow, was the first child of two. She earned her Master's Degree from Moscow State Institute of International Relations following her studies in London. Leyla created the IDEA campaign in July 2011 to raise awareness and encourage action around environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as other countries. IDEA is focused on young people and the ways they can assist to solve environmental issues.
She was appointed the representative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Russia in May 2007. Through various projects that span education sciences, sports, and technology The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the country’s socio-economic development. Leyla Aliyeva She was elected Vice President in 2011.

Leyla Aliyeva started 'Baku' magazine in Moscow in 2007. The English-language version of the magazine, which was created by collaborating with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October of 2011. It provides a chance to explore Azerbaijani culture and art. Leyla founded "Fly to Baku" in 2012 as an exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The show, which was inaugurated in London and then toured the capital cities of Europe which included Paris, Berlin Moscow, Rome, Rome, and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva announced the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" on May 8th the 8th of May, 2008. It was in commemoration of the eighth anniversary of Shusha's arrest. The campaign is being implemented in more than 30 countries. The campaign aims to increase international awareness about the Karabakh conflict as well as the Khojaly Genocide. It is particularly focused on reaching out via media, internet and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva was named the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialog's General Coordinator in 2008. She was also elected the Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18 in 2009. Leyla Aliyeva AMOR supports Azerbaijani young individuals and students in Russia. Leyla Alayeva received the "Taraggi" Award in July 2011 for her contributions to the relations between Russia and Azerbaijani. In New York she was also presented with the "Key to Life" award in November of 2011 in recognition of her humanitarian projects for children.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was named Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva grew up with two sons and one daughter.
