Technically, it's possible. But: -If your provider wants to change your public Internet Protocol, they will make you pay. -Your local IP address must begin with "192.168." If you want to change this last number, you must do so in your router settings.

I cannot get command blocks working, any suggestions?

Did you set "enable-command-block=true" in your config (if it doesn't exist just add it)? There is nothing more to do to make them work. If the problem persists, you can reinstall the map.

Yes, I did. Three different maps were tried and none of them worked. I also tried one that used existing command blocks.

Could you please post your entire server.properties.file (please use a site like http://pastebin.com/) Also did you made any changes to the server other than in the tutorial?

It can be opened with a text editor. If you are using windows: 1. Right click on the file. Select "Open with.." Search for Editor

After doing all the steps above, when I try to run the world, it seems to skip loading the map and just say "done!" When i try to join my minecraft, it says "failed to join: Java.IOException" for URL. I don't know what to do. I have tried three times to reinstall the entire thing, but each time the error persists. please help me, i was supposed to play this map this evening with some friends :/

It looks like minecraft was unable to connect to the minecraft.net server. You can try changing the online-mode=true setting to "online-mode=false". minecraft servers list You can also load a map in singleplayer. Then, open a network server from the Pause screen.

Before i open it up for LAN, I want to ask if it is still able to run the server via Tunngle.
