Vanilla would be much more enjoyable if they added PvP gearing. Having to nolife to get your items through the ranking system is just poor design.
ranking might be tedious but you dont feel obliged to do it in a progressive itemization server.classic provided players with the 1.12 itemization which was the last (and op) itteration of pvp gear.

Vanilla pvp equipment was comparable to current raid-tier gear.
The combination of 1.12 PVP items and the current minmax mentality makes it very unhealthy.
Either way, im going for casual rank ten - twelve and getting the rest my items from pve.
