The long journey back home to celebrate Thanksgiving is always informative. I take lectures with me.
Here's what's going on in my life lately. My college has been online. But I am accumulating a lot knowledge to make me an Youtube celebrity and influencer. My total number of followers is almost 1800. You might be laughing at this, but I've already started on the path. This isn't a lot but it can be accomplished with lots of positive thoughts and exclusive content full of amazing ideas. I will soon become that celebrity. It's possible to achieve anything if you put in the effort, Nas said. His words always rang relevant to me.

My long holiday trip home was going to be the same boring and tedious as any other. I am not a fan of sitting in a cramped seat on a bus. I'm quite a bulky person. This time, I made a decision to beat boredom. You are correct! Two classes at my college have a lot of lectures. They are stored on their servers, but also uploaded to Youtube. Youtube offers several quality options. This has been very useful for my teachers. I copied their lectures to Youtube.


Here I am, getting ready for an 8 hour bus journey. I'm contemplating what I can do, what I can do to enjoy myself, or perhaps do some thinking. I did manage to look through the video clips from the next three lectures. They had almost 7 hours worth of audio. I wanted to save video on my iPad therefore I only listened to the lecture as I was taking the bus back home for Thanksgiving. YouTube's mp3 converter was my friend.. I was able to convert the Youtube video to mp3 and stored them on my phone in case my iPad stops working. Audio only was done for the smartphone because I had very little space. Plus, audio lectures are just as visually appealing as podcasts. Even if you're not watchingthem, they're simple to comprehend. And so I did with the videos, I converted the audio files to mp3 and then set my headphones.. I used my old, cheap headphones I owned, and did not buy the new Airpods at a high price.

However, I also downloaded videos from YouTube as mp4 files to my iPad. This was going to help me in the beginning of the trip. You can see the instructor and hear what's going down however video is amazing. However, mp3s are much smaller than video mp4s, so I was unable to fit seven hours of video on my tablet. I also didn't want to erase Family Guy, which I downloaded via Hulu, just in case my brain was melting from too many lectures.

In the end , I am so glad I took the lectures in both audio and video.. My iPad ran out of juice after 2 hours, then my phone kicked in. The whole trip was a blur because I was not watching the lecture but just listening to the audio. After college reopened I was able to quickly go over what I had learned and wow the professor with my side knowledge. It's amazing to see what modern technology can help you learn. Youtube as well as other video storage sites offer an endless amount of tutorials, videos, and DIY tutorials.
