Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva, born July 3, 1985 in Moscow, was the first child of two. She studied in both London and Moscow and earned a Master's Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla launched IDEA in July of 2011. Leyla Aliyeva This campaign aims to raise awareness and encourage the action needed to address environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as across the globe. IDEA is an initiative that is focused on the young generation, and works with them to solve our environmental challenges.
In May 2007, she was named representative for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the economic and social development of the country, by conducting a range of projects that span education, public health, sport, culture sciences, technology, and the environment. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva launched 'Baku' magazine in Moscow in 2007. In collaboration with Conde Nast in London, the English-language edition of the magazine launched in the month of October. This magazine offers a chance to discover more about art, culture and Azerbaijan. In 2012, Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibition, which showcased Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The show, which was inaugurated in London traveled to the capital cities of Europe, which included Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alyeva has launched "Justice for Khojaly" The campaign was launched by Leyla Alyeva to commemorate the anniversary the Shusha occupation. The campaign was launched in over 30 different countries. The goal is to increase international awareness of the Karabakh conflict as well as the Khojaly Genocide, focusing on media, Internet and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialogue's general coordinator in the year 2008, and was elected the chairperson of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th, 2009. In New York, she was presented with the "Key to Life" award for her work as a humanitarian with children.

Leyla Aliyeva, UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Goodwill Ambassador, was officially proclaimed on May 25, 2015.

On the 20th of October, 2015, she was presented with the Pushkin Medal of the Russian Federation.

Leyla Aliyeva grew up with two sons and one daughter.
