How can you stay occupied in the middle of long hours as a security officer at an underground facility

These are difficult times. The world of the gig economy isn't so simple for me to navigate. I had a great time at my previous job, but I lost my dental assistant position. Now, I have to work night shifts at the local machine manufacturing facility. The machine is mostly automated. The workers are on call during the day and I'm a member of the night crew. I've been experimenting with various car repair videos recently. I'm not able to implement them right away on my car , but I enjoy watching others have their cars stop-stopping. DIY videos are informative and simple to follow. Then I ran into another issue. I realized that my internet wouldn't start working within a few hours. This meant that I could not perform any useful tasks or even watch videos. I was able to download Youtube videos, save them on my phone, and was able to watch YouTube videos at home without having internet access. No matter what you do and it doesn't matter if you stream the video on the internet, or some other site online or download it at home. You can then watch it right off your mobile device when you have no internet access or WiFi. It's easy to set up a DVR to watch your online video, and not only TV shows.

In the spirit of TV and movies, I've discovered how you can download the latest episodes or films straight to your laptop. I started bringing my laptop to work since it has a larger screen and better speakers, so it's much more enjoyable to watch TV on it. I signed up recently for HULU. Now I'm on Netflix. You can download the app, then mark it as downloaded, and forget it. In a few hours, based on the length of the show and the quality options you chose, the video will be downloaded and made available for viewing whenever you want, without internet access. It only takes 15 minutes to watch television however it also lets you catch up on any episodes that you missed last night.

There are numerous informative or just fascinating resources I can find at home and take to work. It makes my day go much quicker. Youtube's webinars regarding self-improvement techniques are an excellent resource. But, as I said it isn't easy to watch a 1hr video and keep up with the information they're presenting. It's easy to see how. In these instances, I again try to prepare at home, and download Youtube video as mp4 file to my laptop, and then watch it any time at work. There are no limitations on wifi, and no wifi needed at all the video is recorded on my laptop there is no risk of it going bad, spotty wifi doesn't matter and it's not needed for me in this situation.

My son is sometimes with me on my way to work. This is the time when my spouse has her shift at night and it is impossible for us not to leave for home. And so I bring him along with me, place him near the screens on my computer where I monitor my stuff, and in a matter of minutes he is asleep.. If he awakes I give him my laptop as well as some of the music videos that I just downloaded. He's content and I'm also happy to do my own thing using my mobile. It's the way we can get along better as a couple, when we each do our individual thing. He loves to go with me. This could be due to the fact that it's late at night, which is what children want.
