Traveling with children is a challenge. It's not possible to trust the internet to climb a mountain. I like to cook at home.

Yes, that was it.. My kids think the internet high up on the mountain is weak. Even though it's a tiny hill, it's within the normal cell range so my children have to walk around in search of higher-quality internet. While my wife and I set up up our small camp site. We will be staying here for a few days. There is a small stream near the site that has fresh water even although we don't have the facilities to do so. That's right, too.. My wife cannot go camping without an ample supply of fresh water and we carry our own all the time.

My children are returning to social media, while I'm taking in the views. The hill isn't too huge, but it's in close proximity by much bigger ones. Every once in awhile we venture out into the hills in order to be connected with Mother Nature. The trips are my absolute pleasure even though I'm not the one to initiate these trips. My wife insists on this as she knows the pleasure we get from going out in the natural. My kids are very different. The thing I dislike is that Internet sometimes becomes unavailable. Sometimes, something in the clouds or magnetic motions can disrupt the streaming song for a few minutes before it returns. This can be a bit annoying for me because I usually end up hearing it all.

So, after a number of trips that were without internet and where our normal internet would drop between a few and a couple of hours We made the decision to prepare. My wife here and I decided we'd prepare for the day when our kids won't be able to connect to the internet for longer than 10 minutes. We came up with two entertainment sources that we can access whenever the internet isn't working on our camping trips. The first was a tablet loaded with music videos and the top songs. Our most-loved Youtube mp3 tool helped us extract music and convert them to MP3 files before downloading onto the tablet. It also supported playlists, so it was very quick even though it sounds awfully long. If someone was down or depressed and blue, they can still listen to music and view videos. And, luckily for all of us, sound can be heard through Bluetooth-connected headphones. It's great, isn't it? There is no sound from this item..

The second tablet was mainly TV shows and cartoons we downloaded from Hulu or Netflix. The quality may not be the best, but it is something. We have several seasons of Breaking Bad there, and numerous cartoons like Family Guy and Disenchantment. It was enjoyable and simple. Tablet 2 arrived just a few days after tablet one. But when it arrived my kids could access it to stream shows. I also added some DIY videos for example, building a tent and skinning fresh caught salmon. It's much easier to watch videos on your tablet while you're working.


These two tips kept my kids busy on four family camping trips. My kids aren't afraid of going out, they know that tablet 2 will be with them to help to pass the time. They also plan to bring it home whenever they're at their best. I have never been more content, that's what I've ever wanted - to be with my loved ones.
