Rami Belacha's challenging Past
Today, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in almost every area he's chosen. But his journey wasn't always as easy. Beracha was just a teenager when joined the army. He was a soldier with the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. Rami was member of a rescue mission to aid wounded soldiers who were trapped in a minefield, joined the Paratrooper's Brigade following the end of the war. Rami was unlucky to fall on an underground mine and sustained a broken foot and an injured hand.
He was in a hospital for rehabilitation, and it was one of the most difficult times of his life. He was unable and unwilling to get up and about, and ultimately was stricken with depression and despair. His dreams of becoming an army officer were not realized and he lost his sense of himself. Rami's suffering allowed him to discover the drive and passion to keep living and dream up new ones. He made a decision to be stronger and stronger than before the injuries. Rami was determined to explore new extreme sports. He now enjoys kitesurfing and snowboarding, and has hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro. He is convinced that his unbeatable self of the past is pushing forward in his quest to make improvements in himself.
