The big blind is generally the same amount as the smaller stake in a poker tournament. The big blind is to your left of a small blind, who is to your left of a dealer.

After the blinds are posted, the dealer will then successively deal cards to each person around the table in a clockwise fashion, starting with the small blind. Each player will get two hole cards. The player on the button should deal the last card of the deal.
