Don't forget your tablet and smartphone, as well as your laptop when you go camping with your children.

It's something I've learned through trial and error. My mother has been with me all week informing me to be prepared and remember that. I just shared with her my excitement over going on the first ever camping trip with my kids and her grandkids. But she was at my side, puffing and puffing up with tips and directions for every scenario that could come up. I do not mind my mom's talking. Even listening to her lectures can make things uncomfortable. Therefore, I attempted to wrap it all up faster than I should. And that was a big mistake, as I've found out the following day... or two..

We set off in the car with the intention to drive it all the way to the campsite. I was determined to recreate the authentic camping moment I shared with my father in the days gone by, so I went for the remotest area, which was it turned out, in an area that was not service-free. It meant our smartphones weren't working, and we were basically the only campers in the area. I'm not disappointed I was hoping for an amazing camping experience..

What happened? There were no bars, or Internet access We had nothing. I took a laptop along with some games online. The bag was not even able to come out of my hands. I had made a backdrop for the trees so they could see the projector that I brought along with my laptop. I couldn't access Hulu or Netflix and it was difficult to bear their presence. They only wanted to check their emails, text messages, school matters, etc. I couldn't take this anymore and we packed our bags for the return journey. My children made sounds that resembled to little piglets munching delicious food when they emerged from the wifi-less zone. Seriously, my kids are just amazing. However, it was embarrassing. They squealed and moaned when their phones started ringing and announcing incoming text messages and emails.

Since then, I've learned how to plan better and strive not to get an internet-less zone with no roaming available. We went on a long boat trip towards the destination. This time, I had to have my closest friends, two tablets and a laptop. The laptop contained all the music videos and music I downloaded from Hulu, Netflix, and other applications. I've got around 600 hours of content to watch that include the full Will & Grace, Friends and South Park seasons and added episodes.

There are a lot of videos that kids will enjoy. mp3 converter youtube I downloaded music videos from Youtube and converted them into mp3 or mp4 formats for watching and listening. A few of the videos I downloaded the help of this web application, it lets me get video downloaded directly to my laptop, and then I can play it any time offline with no Internet and just provide me with an electrical outlet, in case you need to recharge. I record a lot of movies, TV Shows and online seminars, lectures, etc, anything that's worth watching later, and I save those videos in format mp4 on my laptop, later simply play them with VLC or KMP or anything else that can play videos and supports 4K.


4k is another thing that I insist upon. Have you ever watched? Video is crystal clear. It's simply stunning. I truly recommend. Televisions that are capable of 4K video are equipped with wonderful software that improves the quality and enhances the image. The old video is converted into smooth and modern video. Highly recommended to all boys and girls.
