How can you keep boredom at bay when working long hours as a night security guard in an underground facility

However, my primary task as a dental assistant was not so difficult. That's why I decided to take on a night-time security officer job at a local machine plant. The plant is mostly automated. Only 2 engineers and me make up the majority of the night-crew. If there is a problem or the machine isn't functioning in the way it should I have my emergency number. After that, I call engineers and/or call outside line for more engineers. I do nothing. It's not like they create anything of value here. Guards at night are an unofficial switchboard attendant.


In any case, it's something I enjoy. It's quiet. Although I'm not a very sleepy person, I find it very spooky. The nights are boring and I am constantly trying new ways to make speed of time pass faster. For instance, over the past two weeks, I've been working on the Tik Tok dance. It's not hard, but it's hard to replicate the dance. This dance was taught by a young Tik Tok sister, which is why it's not easy. I'm not old enough to be able to describe it.

Recently, I've tried a variety of videos for car repairs. While I'm not sure how to put them into my vehicle right away I like watching other people make their cars seem invincible. DIY videos can be as instructive and easy. Another issue was that it occurred. My phone would cease working, and I was unable to watch any videos or perform other useful activities. I was able to download Youtube videos and place them on my smartphone. I was able to view diy videos when the internet was down. It doesn't matter whether you stream it from a particular site or other online. Or if you download it at home and then view it on your smartphone when you don't have internet or another online connection. It's as simple as DVR for online video, not just TV shows.

In the realm of television, to my pure joy I've figured out how to download new episodes and even movies directly onto my laptop. I brought my laptop to work since it has a bigger screen as well as more powerful speakers. It's so much easier to watch TV shows there. I signed up recently for HULU. Then I've got Netflix. You can download the app, then mark it as downloading, then put it away. Within a couple of hours, based on the length of the show as well as the quality option you choose the show will be downloaded and accessible for you to view anytime, even with no internet connection. Even though the television is only 15 minutes in length, it allows me time to catch up on last night's episodes.

There are many informative or just fascinating resources I can get at home, and then take to work. It helps make my workday much more efficient. Youtube's webinars are fantastic. However, it's hard to concentrate on the message when you're interrupted multiple times. You'll see what I mean. You'll be able to see what I'm saying.

My son sometimes goes with me to work. There are days when my wife works nights shifts, and it is difficult to stay home with our child. So I bring him with, set him up by my computer screens and in a matter of minutes he's asleep. I give him my laptop, which has a few music videos that I downloaded. He watches the young and crazy artists playing on the screen. I'm content to keep doing my job on the phone, however the moment he gets up, he is awake. This is the way we can work better together by doing our own thing. It's possible that he likes coming with me. Maybe because he likes to stay in bed late at the night.
