Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The Man. The Mentor. The Teacher. And The Philanthropist.

Pastor Faith healer, pastor. Author. TV host. Chris Oyakhilome is also known to his followers as Pastor Chris. He is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique presentation of God's Word has enthralled millions across the world.

Pastor Chris: Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family of faith, surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace on her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Reverend Ken is Ken's older brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. The LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home to many gospel artists, who are among the top sellers across the world.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in her father's footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the world. In addition, she is known as CSO her name, she is a talented, award winning gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honourary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and to be a minister.

Chris: A Pastor Chris: A Mentor
The Man of God was in university, began what would later become one of the most influential church in the world. A small prayer group known as Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would evolve to become one of the most popular organizations on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions through the base of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.


Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become an innovator in satellite television and Christian production and programming on television. Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa to the rest of the world, all the time via free-to-air networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church has two healing schools located in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris recommends Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be trained through Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of these singing talent go on to enjoy successful solo careers under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that seeks to carry on the inspirational work of Pastor Chris. Its purpose is to recognize and encourage the remarkable achievements of the young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris is investing today in young people to help them be leaders of the future.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome hosts conferences and events across the globe that bring together thousands Christians from all walks of Christian faith. He is one of the most well-known and influential pastors of Nigeria and the world his teachings will continue to influence and inspire souls for a long time to come.

Pastor Chris is also a renowned writer and author. He has written hundreds upon thousands of devotionals. The most well-known of his works is the Rhapsody of Realities. A daily devotional and study guide to prayer that provides inspirational insights into God's Word. Rhapsody of Realities has been translated into thousands of languages and is distributed to millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris: The Philanthropist
A committed philanthropist Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), Non-profit, non-governmental, non-profit organization that was founded to assist the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the most deprived regions and countries around the globe.

The Man of God created a number of NGOs to provide vital services and bring hope to the poor, needy and uninformed. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome COFI is a partnership of five who are dedicated to improving the living conditions in the least-served regions.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFthe Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and Bible For All Mission are all part of the COFI umbrella. Each of these groups strives to improve wellbeing, health and spirits of those most at risk.

His charitable organization offers food and shelter to those in need. Pastor Chris believes in empowering communities by establishing COFI and The InnerCity Mission. He promotes good governance, responsible leadership, and sustainable development throughout Africa, as well as other regions of the world as per the Sustainable Development Goals. It's easy to recognize that Pastor Chris is an effective ambassador for Christ, with a wide-ranging and successful ministry.
